school of Guido RENI (Bologna 1575 - 1642) "San Michele Arcangelo" Original etching etching referable temporally between 1600 and 1640, by a subject by Guido Reni himself. Beautiful specimen printed with careful inking on a portion of thin laid paper without watermark, trimmed inside the impression of the copper without leaks, slightly burnished, with two small folds of print on the high side and with some traces of old gluing visible on the reverse but overall in excellent general condition. Bartsch places this work among those of the anonymous masters of the circle of Guido Reni and defines it as "belle pièce". Bibliography: Bartsch “Le Peintre Graveur” Vienna 1818 vol.XVIII pag.322 n ° 29. Measurements in mm: 210ca x 147ca
